We are pleased to announce our association with Lavender International to deliver PCN Training and Exams.

Following on from detailed discussions a format has been worked out whereby, after considerable preparation and staff training, the Lavender NDT courses can be delivered at the Ultramag NDT training facility in Southampton.

Steve Lavender, Co-Managing Director of Lavender International and Chris Simmonds, Managing Director of Ultramag are both very pleased to jointly make this announcement.

Ultramag joins EEMUA as an Associate – June 2015

With an increase for inspections on storage tanks and associated equipment, Ultramag has joined the Engineering Equipment and Materials Users Association. As already providing NDT, Pressure Testing and Rope Access inspections, it was decided the Company should train up inspectors to carry out Tank Inspections to EEMUA 159. Joining EEMUA will give us access to the appropriate standards of training, development, networking and professional guidance.

April 2015 – Come and see us on Stand SB86 at Seawork 2015

It’s an exciting time here at Ultramag as we get set to exhibit at Seawork 2015, the internationally acclaimed commercial marine exhibition in Southampton.

Ultramag are the only NDT inspection and testing company exhibiting which gives us the opportunity to discuss our services and clients requirements for projects face to face.

NDT services facility in Bristol, plans underway – March 2015

Plans are in place for another NDT services facility in Bristol to cater for the increase in proposed projects in this area.

Since setting up in Ferndown, Dorset we have attracted many new clients operating in the West of England.

A location near Bristol would ensure competitive pricing for projects in this area and give us the opportunity to offer our extensive NDT services in Bristol.

NDT services facility in Southampton, plans are now agreed – January 2015

We have agreed plans for a new, two storey NDT services facility in Southampton, Hampshire.

After 40 years of NDT and Weld Inspection we have now stretched to three units in Southampton & one in Ferndown.

The new NDT services facility in Southampton will cater for the continued growth in:

This move will free up Fourelle House which will become a new training centre for NDT, Weld Inspection, Welding Standards, Health & Safety related courses.
