Marine and Hull Surveys
As part of our marine and hull surveys services we carry out Ultrasonic Thickness Surveys to ships, barges, boats, and marine structures, including tankers, bulk carriers and MOD ships; on steel, aluminium, GRP and Carbon Fibres.
The Ultrasonic Thickness Surveys can be performed in dry dock or at sea, using multiple echo thickness meters and digital flaw detectors. As well as thickness measurements, NDT services are also carried out as required.
Work is undertaken both nationally and internationally.
For our marine and hull survey service we hold approvals from:
- Bureau Veritas
- Det Norske Veritas
- Lloyds Register
Reports are produced using the classification society’s electronic software and are available in a digital format.
