Power - Petro/Chemical Industries
Ultramag have been working with the power- petro/chemical industries for years. All work undertaken is carried out by trained personnel. They have recently started investigating into providing N.D.T. for the inspection of wind turbine blades and the moulds that they are transported in.
Aerospace and Defence
Ultramag have performed NDT to the aerospace and defence industries for many years. New Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant equipment have been set up in separate inspection areas, along with much improved viewing and packing areas. The company has C.A.A. approval for its NDT methods.
Amusement Parks
Ultramag have been involved with the inspection of amusement parks since the very beginning. Inspections can be carried out on new and in-service components. Due to this specialised work the Company is a member of N.A.F.L.I.C. and is also registered with the A.D.I.P.S. Scheme.
Marine Sector
Ultramag have been specialising in the surveying of shipping structures. They are recognised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and M.O.D. Using both marine and hull surveys they can undertaken both internal and external surveys, both of which can be on dry dock or whilst at sea.
